After leaving school I worked in the accounts department of a number of different companies. I made the decision to progress further in my career and so started a distance learning course in Accountancy. I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2004.
I joined Holder Blackthorn as a part-time employee in 2000. I enjoyed the role and decided to increase to full-time hours within 6 months.
My main tasks and responsibilities are to provide services which range from bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, cashflows, budgets and accounts preparation for a number of UK based clients.I also prepare management accounts and report to parent companies based all over Europe, working closely with our clients here and abroad.
In my spare time, if I get an hour or two to myself when I’m not looking after the family, I enjoy watching Indian movies.
